  • Dr. Luciano Castillo and team presented 19 keynote lectures, including 12 on renewable energy topics such as sustainable energy systems, wind energy, and climate-resilient infrastructure. Additionally, we delivered 7 lectures on Diversity & Inclusion, covering areas like equitable workplace practices, fostering inclusive cultures, and strategies for increasing representation across STEM fields in the US & Puerto Rico.

Assisting with Standard Operating Procedures, Capacity and Infrastructure Building for the Path to Excellence and Innovation Initiative and the development of a Technical Assistance Center to support Historically Black Colleges and Universities seeking NIH contracts.

  • to support Harris Space and Intelligence Systems’ Harris/BESL Mentor Protégé program RFP CW2019118. This training consisted of providing the 3-day CMMI for Services V1.3 Intro training, conducting a process-level gap analysis of business processes to estimate compliance with CMMI-SVC 1.3 at Maturity Level 3, and conducting a final process gap analysis to ensure all process level gaps were adequately addressed.

  • to support NASA’s Minority University Research & Education Project for Sustainability and Innovation Collaborative cooperative agreement Award. Identification Number: 80NSSC18M0138. PMP designed, produced and facilitated workshops, sustainable training materials, and direct support to Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) as a means of enabling a competitive advantage in securing federal contracts. This project engaged 162 participants from 32 Historically Black Colleges and Universities, 8 Hispanic Institutions, 1 Tribal College, and 1 Asian American and Pacific Islander Serving Institution, as well as 38 companies interested in collaborating with the schools as academic research partners to pursue funding opportunities from NASA.

  • Alabama A&M University Research, Innovation, Science and Engineering Foundation (AAMU-RISE). The AAMU-RISE Foundation is the contracting entity for Alabama A&M University and is capable of serving as either a prime or subcontractor to manufacture products or provide innovative services that the U.S. government must have.
